The copyedit is the editing stage focused on the sentence and word level. It’s a line-by-line and word-by-word review of your manuscript.

- Formatting
- Paragraph and section breaks
- Word choice and usage
- Minor fact checking
- Readability
- Run-on sentences
- Syntax
- Continuity / Plot Flaws
- Dialogue punctuation and tagging
- Rewriting any wordy or awkward sentences according to best writing practices
What you’ll get:
- A brief editorial letter
- Two versions of your manuscript page edits (Track Changes and clean)
- A style sheet outlining the specific details of your manuscript including character names, locations, terms, grammar rules and exceptions, etc.
- Email follow-up for questions
